SIFLOGO WINERY
Cultivation
Local grape varieties — some well-known, like Vertzami, Vardea, and Chlori, and others nearly forgotten, such as Mavropatrino, Thiako, Asprovertzamo, Kokkinostafylo, and Lefkadian Muscat — take root deep within the rocky soil, standing resilient against time.
Each year they wrestle with the elements of nature and, with patience and endurance, offer us small but exceptional harvests.
Our vineyards are cultivated entirely by hand, just as the elders did. We don’t use artificial irrigation — we allow the land to regulate itself. We nourish the vines with only plant-based fertilizers, sulfur, and Bordeaux mixture, without any aggressive interventions.
Our cultivation is part of an organic farming program, though this land — blessed as it is — has never known chemical fertilizers, pesticides, or substances that harm the soil.

Climate
Humid Mediterranean climate, with an average annual temperature of 15°C (59°F) and relative humidity of 69%. Ideal conditions for natural vine growth and slow, balanced grape ripening.
Grapes
Our vineyards grow Vertzami, Vardea, and Mavropatrino — three native varieties rich in character and authenticity. The wines are natural, expressive, and deeply rooted in the Lefkadian land.
Focus
Natural, single-varietal wines — from bold Vertzami to refreshing Vardea — born in Lefkada, bottled with soul and respect for the land.
Cultivation
Exclusively hand-cultivated, with minimal intervention: only natural fertilization, sulfur, and Bordeaux mixture. Respect for nature, and a focus on expressing the true character of the fruit.
Winemaking
Underground stone cellars, equipped with a few stainless steel tanks and aged French oak barrels. The space radiates calm, allowing the wine to mature slowly and naturally in silence.
